Our Executive Director, Ashleigh Curry, directed The Color Purple at The Little Theater of Gastonia this past March. The production made history in the city—selling out all six performances and becoming the first show with a predominantly Black cast and crew. Together, they read lines from a play about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and shared an engaging discussion on the significance of the Civil Rights Movement.
